What makes WaterU® bottles different from other water bottles?
Our stainless steel water bottles are made from high quality BPA-FREE Food Grade Stainless Steel. Stainless steel is durable, reusable, as well as recyclable. Our plastic bottles are made from FDA Approved Food Grade material plastic. This plastic is a BPA-FREE, high-grade material that does not retain odor and does not leach and is also reusable and recyclable.

Unlike the bottles that are made for single use, our bottles can be used time and time again. That means NO LANDFILL WASTE.

Where can I purchase your products?

Our products are available at Bed Bath and Beyond®, Walgreens®, Harris Teeter®, and CVS® stores.

What is Water Quality Assurance certification?
WaterU® Stainless Steel Water Bottles are Certified by the Water Quality Association with a Golden Seal under the NSF/ANSI-61 Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects Standard.

"This Standard establishes minimum health effects requirements for the chemical contaminants and impurities that are indirectly imparted to drinking water from products, components, and materials used in drinking water systems."

Where are WaterU® bottles made?
Most of our bottles are made responsibly in China. Because of this, we are able to offer our products at competitive prices. We also manufacture some plastic bottles here in the USA. Please check the label or bottom of the bottle to be sure.
Can I put my WaterU® bottle in the freezer?
We strongly advise against it. Since water expands when frozen, this pressure could break your WaterU® bottle. But you can add ice to it or put it in the fridge.
I bought a WaterU® stainless steel water bottle. I was wondering if I can also use it for juice and/or other beverages or will it react badly with the steel?
You can put whatever you like in your bottles. Stainless steel does not leach nor will it absorb your beverage. Just be sure to wash thoroughly after each use to prevent bacteria build up.
Can I put hot liquids in my stainless steel WaterU® bottle?
No. Stainless Steel WaterU® bottles are not insulated. If you fill your Stainless Steel WaterU® bottle with very hot liquid, you could burn yourself. Warm beverages can be used at your own personal comfort level.
I think my bottle/cap may be defective. What should I do?
WaterU® takes pride in manufacturing high quality, durable products. Occasionaly a bottle can be damaged in the production process, in shipping, or by misuse. If you think your bottle is defective, please return the bottle along with your receipt to the place of purchase for an exchange. If that is not possible, email us for product return instructions
I lost/broke my cap. Can I get a new one?
Because our product line has evolved over the years, some bottles are no longer made. In order to determine if you can get a new cap, we need the UPC code from the bottle. For more info, email us here.
What type of plastic are your lids/caps made of?
Most of our caps are made of BPA Free polypropylene plastic. Some are made from stainless steel.
I just bought a WaterU® stainless steel water bottle. Is the inside lined with epoxy or chemicals?
No. Our bottles are not lined with any chemicals.  We use BPA-FREE Food Grade Stainless Steel so there is no need for us to line our bottles with harmful chemicals. We are aware that some other makers of reusable water bottles are lining them due to the use of lesser quality raw materials. We have never lined our bottles with any chemicals. Our goal is to provide a healthy alternative to plastics which means your health and safety is our main objective.
I read that some plastic contains BPA (Bisphenol-A). Does your plastic?
No. We only use BPA FREE plastics and stainless steel. Rest assured that our products are safe for everyone to use.
